 An amazing passage in Exodus tells us that Moses and the elders saw the God of Israelā€¦ HIs feet and his form.

Of course God is Spirit so as they saw God they are seeing Jesus, God in flesh in a pre-incarnate appearance. And it states they actually ate with Him. At the giving of the Law they ate with the fulfillment of the Law. Exodus 24:9ā€“11 (NASB95) 9Then Moses went up with Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, 10and they saw the God of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself. 11Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the sons of Israel; and they saw God, and they ate and drank.

Psalms says He is intimately acquainted with all our ways. Ephesians He works all things according to the counsel of His will. Psalm 135:6 (NASB95) 6 Whatever the Lord pleases, He does, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps. He is in control, and He is orchestrating your present and future. He causes all these things to work together for good. SO Trust Him. But also get a birds eye view of the decision. How has He led to this point ā€“ what is the trajectory of where your life is going as it pertains to that decision. He has most definitely already laid some track ahead and youā€™re just following as He leads. What gifts, talents, opportunities, circumstances, desires, helpers has He put in your path moving forward? Lloyd Jones and Billy Graham ā€“ Association or Separation

I just finished Ian Murrayā€™s biography on Dr. Martyn Lloyd Jones.  His ministry is an inspiration to me.  I love the simple consistency he exhibited and his reliance upon God ordained methods to accomplish Godā€™s purposes. One area I find Lloyd Jones exhibited great wisdom was how he graciously resisted the overwhelming tide of the ecumenism of his day. Dr. Lloyd Jones believed that the ends should not justify the means.  In the 1950ā€™s, ecumenism in England was championed by most Evangelical leaders.  Leaders like J I Packer believed that they were to gain greater respect by association with and dialog within theologically liberal associations.  The hope was to heal the cancerous body from within by being a healthy cell.  His end goal ā€“ a more respected evangelical voice. A secret to spiritual strength in your everyday life comes from Ephesians 5 where God tells us to be filled with the Holy Spiritā€¦ and that filling enables us in all the other relationships throughout the rest of the book. Submitting to one another in the family, and the family of God. What is filling? Filling has reference to control - God's Spirit's control. The interesting fact there is that we are commanded to be filled. Be enabled, controlled. Thatā€™s a passive verb. It must be done to you by God.
