  Theology Class - Answer to Question  When did Disciples believe?  When did the disciples become born again Christians? This question is related to a current study, I'm working on with our church: " and we can use it as a question to open up many other questions (and answers to questions). Their following and faith developed as God revealed more about His Son and His mission. But this also brings up deeper questions like, when did the Old Testaments saints become Christian, were they saved by faith like you and I?

Thoughts on Propitiation, Numbers 7:89, and Prayer

The voice of God is found above the Mercy Seat. No other place on earth where man and God may meet. Propitiation hear. The cross work has been done. Where God becomes Father through sacrifice of Son. Now everywhere is Heaven. The veil is torn in two. Every plot is Eden for God to walk with you. Christ has earned our favor. His blood has brought us near. The shadow is not needed. Mercy reigns for ever. In Christ are all our praises. Heavens sounds will sing  blood, cross and glory  The Lamb of Calvary. Holiest place is prayer  On your knees God is there. Not one spot for just one, He's offered to everyone. I was struck today with Numbers 7:89. In chapter 7 there is a long list of the leaders of Israel offering sacrifice. Great men give! But the chapter ends with Moses entering God's place and talking with God. What a privileged this Moses had! He could pray. Pillars in Discerning God's Will - The Pillar of Love and Chocolate Shop...

  Begin with a simple logical expression: My kids love chocolate. I love my kids. I only feed my kids chocolate. And from here we get to our third pillar for decision making and the will of God. Come with me to the M&M Store, the bridge of secrets and eventually a few shops in Queens. Often life's biggest decisions are ones that are not exactly right and wrong decisions. Who should I marry? What should I do for education or work? Where should I live? These also can be some of the most difficult decisions we face. So we need to add wisdom principles to our decision making tool belt. Let's learn from Scripture how God would have us make these decisions in a way that pleases Him. In this way we follow Christ Who, "Always did the will of the Father."
