Do Christians Walk ON WATER? #ChristianLife #Devotional #BibleReading

Image
It's so encouraging to hear how the Lord gave Peter strength to walk on water. He called him, and Peter came. And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus" (Matthew 14:29). Of course, he sank too... as he got his eyes off of Jesus. But the calling our Lord had for him was able to be carried out as he kept his eyes on Jesus. In a very similar way, we have no business walking the Christian walk without Christ strengthening us every step of the way. We can't live that way on our own. We need Him! Do you feel like your sinking? Pause now and ask the Lord for strength to follow Him! JANUARY 23 SCRIPTURE READINGS: Genesis 44:1-45:28 Matthew 14:13-36 Psalm 18:37-50 Proverbs 4:11-13

" John presents specific truths about Jesus that we must believe.   This demonstrates a very important truth.   When it comes to assurance of salvation, faith is not the only factor we must examine.   We must also consider the...

The next study in the LIFE GROUPS GOWING Series is now online.  "What are the ordinances of the local church?" In this study you will learn the importance and significance of the two ordinances of the church - Baptism and the Lord's Table.   These were two commands that Jesus gave His church before his ascension.   They are vital to you as an individual and to Grace Baptist church as a local body. Download a pdf below or place an order for a small group discipleship booklet. The Ordinances of the Local Church by Pastor Tim
