  The Bible describes God's voice like Thunder. . . What is the meaning behind this figure of speech?

What an encouraging Scripture that teaches not only how great our God is, but how much He knows. We can't hide from Him... We welcome His knowing of all about us and know that He cares for us.

Psalm 145 is one of my favorite Psalms to dig into. There we find that God opens HIs hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing. So... are you satisfied? If not then you need to come to God today. Go to God for satisfaction!

  Can you measure how great God is? Absolutely not! " Great is the LORD! He is most worthy of praise! No one can measure his greatness." ( Psalm 145:3 (NLT) Praise the Lord Who not only holds the universe in His hands... He holds you in His hand.

T he Scripture gives an interesting take on the Berean believers. They were more noble minded. How is that? I want to be in that category! Well let's see what it states about them to encourage us forward in our spiritual stability.

  There is great encouragement in the truth that God can take what seems like a tragedy and create a blessing. We learn that from the cross. And we learn that every day as He turns our tragedies into opportunities for growth.

You often have bad days... Every day includes some bad experiences. And then there are very bad days. Ones that change our life drastically. When we go through difficult stretches they stretch our faith. But they should not ruin our faith in God. Continue to trust God realizing that although bad things happen, God is not the origin of evil and He will due away with all these things one day. In this video, we consider a second reason why we face bad and evil in the world. Let us praise Him for He is worthy!

  Does God notice you? Does He care or think about you? Yes! Listen to these encouraging words from Psalm 139. 17 How precious are your thoughts about me,  O God. They cannot be numbered!   18 I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand!  And when I wake up, you are still with me! Psalm 139:17–18 (NLT)

The biggest city in the world is not Tokyo. You're in it now. The world wide web provides connectivity, communication, anonymity, commerce, creativity, evil and great good... So many of the same elements that are both positive and negative in a city. So how can we use this for good? One way is to share the Gospel. That's one reason to use YouTube. There are times in life when your responsibilities grow to the point that you feel too weak to keep going. Or perhaps there's a difficult problem in life that has brought you to a stand still and you can't see a way forward. That may be opposition, like Elijah faced from Jezebel, or affliction, like what Paul faced in his "thorn in the flesh."  Whatever the resistance, we find in 2 Corinthians 12 an encouragement to move forward by God's grace. His grace is sufficient for us. Yes, and it even works more prevalent when we are weak. Embrace the weakness and the grace that God gives to move forward today! "Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away. 9Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. We find another amazing prophecy of Jesus written 700 years before He was born. This time it is prophesying conditions surrounding His death.

  As we consider different principles for prayer we learn a beautifully comfortable truth in that God is always listening. Because of the Gospel, Christ has entered in our place and "Always Lives" to listen. He is available to listen all day every day for the rest of the days of being!

What is God's throne like? It is a very gracious place. In fact it is a throne of Grace - that's where we get grace and mercy to help in time of need. What a beautiful throne!
