  Jesus shared one of the most important principles of Christian growth the final night with the disciples. And He used the illustration of the vine to teach it.

When you are going on a journey, is there someone to pray to specifically for that purpose?? Well, yes. The Lord is the same Person we always pray to. #Jesus hears and answers your prayer... And He is with you always! Don't pray to saints. Pray only through Jesus, God the Son, to God the Father.

Friendship is important. We are sharpened and bettered by a good friend. So, pray for a Jonathan in your life who will encourage you. But you realize you have a David! Jesus is the "Son of David" that is our greatest Friend. He has laid down His life for us and will be faithful forever. This is one of my favorite nature videos that I've captured... I love hiking and learning from what God has made. While resting on this mountain top, this bee joined me at just the right time. Looking at such a tiny creature buzzing in the surrounding of an immense wilderness reminded me once again of how the Lord takes care of all things... even the little creatures. We find this so clearly in Psalm 145. Psalm 145:14–19 (NASB95) 14 The Lord sustains all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down.   15 The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time.   16 You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.   17 The Lord is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds.   18 The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.   19 He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.
