  How big is God? Well, Solomon, the wisest person on earth tells us something as he prepares to build a house to contain God. God is Infinite!

  God loves you! How do you know that? He has declared it in justification. God accepts you by grace through the redemption in Jesus Christ!

  Do you feel swamped by the storms of life? I know that many brothers and sisters in the church family are facing storms. I was encouraged by today’s Scripture reading from the life of Paul as he marked day 14 in a deadly storm at sea with no end in sight… Instead of giving in to fear and anxiety. He prayed, ate, and thanked God for the food! And then encouraged others to do the same. He knew that God’s promise to sustain him would keep him safe (Acts 27:33 -35). When we feel overwhelmed by the storms of life, it’s good to stop, eat, rest, and thank God for the day... and then go right back to God's promises. I pray you will be able to do that today, no matter the storm. Make Psalm 145 your meditation: “The Lord sustains all who fall and raises up all who are bowed down” (Psalm 145:14).   God's Kindness is immeasurable... Because He is kind in all He does. Let's reflect His #Kindness today!

 Have you ever wondered about what language is spoken in heaven? We hear Jesus speaking to Paul in Hebrew, but that doesn't necessarily mean that Hebrew is only spoken in heaven. Every language is heard by our Lord in heaven.

  We look at the prayer of Jabez as a good example. But its example may be less obvious as you think. The importance is in claiming the promises of God.

  We often mistakenly consider prayer to be something of a genie in a bottle situation. We have a wish and God has to come through. But that's not the case. We have a Father. And at times we need to recognize that He knows best. Consider Paul's prayer and what God knew best of that situation.

  God uses all things for good... even using a little boy overhearing a conversation to save the Apostle Paul from certain ruin.

Our daily Bible reading for today had some great instruction for the US on July 4th. But it also had good instruction for all of us on every day. Let's do homage, worship, the Son of God today. Let Him rule in our hearts!

  Who is Lord in Heaven? And how does that effect the way I live on earth? Saul found out the hard way. He had resisted and even persecuted Jesus as the "Way, Truth, and Life." And then Jesus called out to Saul from heaven. What Jesus said teaches us about Him and His role. He is Lord - even in heaven.

  So many turns in life can get us distracted... How can we stay on track? and if we go off track a bit, how do we get back on track? Be committed to going God's way in navigating life's challenges.
